Used For: Used with thin or lightweight fabrics to stiffen, reinforce and provide shape retention on garments, costumes, accessories and crafts.
Special Benefits: Two main types of interfacing include fusible (which is applied with heat) and sew-in. They can be knit or woven, and come in a variety of weights to reinforce different kinds of base fabric.
Pellon® 76 Flex-Foam® Naked - No Tricot 20" Wide. 76 Flex-Foam® Naked with no tricot covering is a basic, multi-purpose stabilizer. It can be used in place of or in addition to other stabilizers and is sewing machine safe. The flexible shape and body it adds is great for tote bags, storage boxes, wallet clutches, and children’s books. It can also be used for extra padding in upholstery projects and ironing board covers.

Flex foam hard to sew
Bought this after using the tricot sides flex foam to save a few bucks. Big mistake, unless you have fabric on both sides for sewing, it will stretch. Save yourself a headache & get the tricot faced. Will not buy this again.

Great foam
Arrived on time. Strong enough foam to make wizard hats, lightweight, easy to sew through.
It does struggle on feed dogs, but easy to work around.

A new favorite... Newbie to sewing
I was looking a cheaper alternative to fusible interfacing to give my bags more support. This product exceeded my expectations. New to sewing and this was my first time doing sew in instead of fusible. It was not hard as I thought it would be. I was terrified to do anything other than fusible. Just levelled up on my sewing game.

Great value
I bought this because of the significant price difference between this naked foam and the tricot covered foam. I haven't used it before but was pleased with it. It did rip in one little spot but it's on the inside and I can't feel or see it.

Good foam for giving body to a project
Good for giving body and cushion in a project. It does fall apart easily as there is nothing holding the foam together, especially if you have to rip the stitches and sew again.
